16th July 2021 marked the final day of the Code with Agility training for cohort 1.
The session began with the participants finalizing their websites to make sure there were no errors and were ready for the presentation. The trainer made sure everyone was ready for the presentation and he also did a mock presentation to give the ladies a sense of what they were expected to do during their presentations.
At the beginning of the digital marketing class, the trainer put the participants into groups 2 to come with 2 weeks of social media campaigns for their businesses. The ladies took turns to present their social media campaigns and how effective it was. Some of the ladies were able to grow their social media pages to 89 followers after the allocated time.
Later, the ladies took turns again to present their individual websites. Among the websites they presented were Brafie( a local food joint website), Arta Metallica ( an engineering website to promote female engineers), Lady in Red( a movie review and recommendation website).
Later, the training assistant made the ladies refill the post-training evaluation form as other sessions were added. She also spoke about the Soronko Academy Opportunities Network opportunities on Facebook and encouraged the ladies to join. She also told them to reach out to Soronko Academy for any opportunities and book appointments for CV reviews, interview skills, etc. She also asked the ladies to nominate one person to represent them on the Soronko Alumni network as their Cohort Rep.
The training assistant moved to the presentation of certificates and took turns to receive their certificates. The ladies received the certificates from the trainer and the training assistant.
The day was finally wrapped up with a group photo and networking and a team bonding among themselves.
