Code with Agility 2.0 ended on the 3rd of September, 2021.
The session began with the participants finalizing their websites to make sure there were no errors and were ready for the presentation. The trainer made sure everyone was ready for the presentation.
At the beginning of the digital marketing class, the trainer put the participants into groups of 3 to come up with a 2 weeks social media campaign for their businesses. The ladies took turns to present their social media campaigns and how effective it was. Most of them selected Instagram for their various campaigns. Some of the ladies were able to grow their Instagram page to 115 followers.
Later, the ladies took turns again to present their individual websites. Among the websites they presented were Purply Cards( A website for a gift company), Paradise Pepper(A website to promote a food business), Kimmey’s Closet (an online fashion store), House of Solution Worship Centre(A website for a church), Arabafi Crochet(an online crochet store), Cecidel Collection(An online thrift shop), Grocie’s Frozen Store(An online store to frozen foods), Girl Max( A website to promote women empowerment), Golnvestment Advisors( An online financial consulting firm), University of Ghana French club(A website to promote a club on campus), Amanda Ofori Addo(A portfolio website for copywriting), Agility Pharmacy( an online drug store), Ayishetu’s Fashion(an online fashion store), Fashion Arena(Online fashion store), Meeana’s Aesthetics(A portfolio website to promote aesthetic works).
Later, the training assistant made the ladies fill the post-training evaluation form.
She also spoke about the opportunities available on the Soronko Academy Opportunities Network on Facebook and encouraged the ladies to join. She also told them to reach out to Soronko Academy for any opportunities, and also book appointments for CV reviews, interview skills and many more. She also asked the ladies to nominate one person to represent them on the Soronko Alumni network as their Cohort Rep.
The training assistant moved to the presentation of certificates and took turns to receive their certificates. The ladies received the certificates from the trainer and the training assistant.
Later there was an exchange of gifts session where all the participants picked someone and surprised them with a gift.
The day was finally wrapped up with a group photo and networking and team bonding among themselves.
