Today marked the fourth day of the National Female Pre-Tech training program. So far the students have been introduced to Mobile App development and creating simple designs using FIGMA. The students worked through completing their assignments, followed by presentations.
In class today, the students kept working on their assignment from the previous day, which was to create a three-page design in FIGMA using frames and add functionality to them, i.e. prototyping. As the students continued to flesh out their designs, the trainer went around to assist those who required help.
The students used most of the day to demo their applications. They took a thirty-minute lunch break after which the presentations started. Most of the students created beautiful designs for their applications. A few students including Briana, Cynthia, Sharon, and Kukua created impressive designs that were creative and received some accolades from their mates.
After sitting through the presentations, the Office Administrator and M&E officer, Ms. Stella and Ms. Harriet, respectively, commended the ladies on their performance so far. Ms. Harriet encouraged them to keep up their enthusiasm and work harder to achieve more by the end of the course.
