WOMEN IN DIGITAL SKILLS

Empowering Women in Digital Skills

The Women in Digital Skills Program is a free coding and digital skills training program targeted at women aged 18 to 35 as part of the Mastercard Foundation Young Africa Works initiative.

This initiative aims to provide women with the essential digital and soft skills they need to succeed and attain dignified and fulfilling work using technology as an enabler.

In 2023, Soronko Academy expanded the program online to allow women who are geographically unable to attend in-person classes to acquire and advance their digital abilities.

We are intentional about connecting the women we train to dignified and fulfilling work and supporting them to start and grow their entrepreneurial ventures. We work with remote work , job  placement partners, and partner hubs.

Below are the courses, skills and job position for the courses we teach at the academy.
