The National Female Pre-tech training Programme is gradually coming to an end. The first day of the third week of the training began with the class examining a brief from all the key partners involved in the Pretech training and the class is required to design a campaign to address the brief.
The class then proceeded to discuss video editing applications like Quick, Inshot and Filmora. The class kicked off with the ladies installing “Quik” and proceeding to create an amazing slideshow with images and videos. They learnt how to import copyright free music and crop images to fit different sizes. The trainer also went on to explain how to create videos that fit different aspect ratios so the content perfectly fits the right screen viewing size.
The students went on to learn how to use “inShot” a free video editing app available for both android and iOS to create and edit their videos. They learnt editing techniques search as transitions, filters, adding text overlays, PIP, adapting videos to different aspect ratios and adding voiceovers.
Today’s class wrapped up with the ladies experimenting more with “inShot” and finding out more creative tools the software has to offer. The training continues this week as the participants dive into social media management, content creation and storytelling.
