It was a pleasure to host NSBE Ghana as they successfully celebrated the UN International Day Women and Girls in Science.This event happened on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Soronko Academy.
The first speaker, Delphina Agyare spoke about the opportunities and the challenges women and girls face whiles studying STEM courses. She mentioned that, women and girls should be confident with what ever they do. She also said, “If you want your voice to be heard, always keep your hand up”
The second speaker, Dr. Elsie Kaufmann, The Quiz Mistress Of The NSMQ also mentioned that, “When our voices are heard as women, we must help others and work together to solve the problems we face in our societies and the wold at large.”
