Code with Agility week 4 day 2 wrapped on 30th June 2021 with the trainer explaining to the participants how to use fonts, insert images, videos on their websites using WordPress.
The trainer also talked about a few sites they could use to download images and icons for their various websites for free. This includes; pixels.com, unsplash, stories.Freepik, and undraw.
He also talked about other online resources they could use for basic editing of the pictures and icons they would like to use on their websites. This includes; remove bg, background remover and Lunapic.
The trainer later helped the participants to create the homepage for their websites by creating a dummy homepage for them to follow.
The session ended with the trainer explaining how they could create a “call to action” at the bottom of their webpage. He explained that a call to action is a prompt on a website that tells the user to take some specified action. It usually comes with phrases such as ‘Sign up, Buy Now, Donate’ and often takes the form of a button.
