It has been an amazing six weeks of digital skills training which started on the 29th March 2021 finally comes to end. Throughout the course, students developed critical skills in Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, and Website Development. The six-week course has equipped the students with a variety of digital and soft skills and with the opportunity to visit the Digital Technology Institute.
During the graduation ceremony, the students presented their beautifully designed websites, which they worked on over the six weeks of training. The theme for their websites was about Food, Fashion Design, Real Estate and Technology Solution Center. The websites were creatively designed and students incorporated many techniques learned in class.
The staff of Soronko Academy were truly impressed with what the women accomplished over the training period. After the presentation, the Career Development Advisor of Soronko Academy encouraged the ladies to keep up the good work and utilize their skills to advance their business or job. Miss Josephine later introduced to the students the Soronko Alumni Network and its objectives. She also encouraged the graduating students to reach out for career support services and sign up for the Soronko Opportunities Network on Facebook.
Following the speech to the class, each student was awarded a certificate of completion by a Soronko Academy staff member. The celebration culminated in a group photo to capture everyone’s achievements. At the end of class, there were some sad goodbyes as the students parted ways, but everyone was grateful for the experiences and education that they received.
We thanked them for their eagerness to learn and constant enthusiasm to explore new things.
