With our Women in Digital Skills class, we don’t only train the women in digital skills but also soft skills such as leadership, entrepreneurship, public speaking, how to pitch, how to take an interview, how to sell yourself and create a brand and how to communicate effectively.
Communication is important in every organization. Everything we do in our workplaces results from communication. Therefore good reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are essential in our day-to-day interactions with people. This allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change.
So we are fortunate to partner with A-League Consult (independent human capital development training provider) to have a soft skills session every Friday for the women. The session is lead by an accomplished Communications and Leadership expert, Mr John Affaidzi Appiah
Mr. John Appiah has extensive media experience in Ghana. He has worked as a presenter on New Day Breakfast show on TV3 Ghana, a producer and an on-air panelist and editor of 3FM’s Sunrise Morning Show. He has also worked as one of the producers on Joy FM’s flagship programmes, The Super Morning and News File. He was also the communication manager of the British Hign Commission
John is the best at what he does. His sessions are engaging, informative, insightful, excellent and life-changing. He has a gift and talent and is taking time from his busy schedule running a hospital in Koforidua to train the women. Please if you know John say thank you for me.
Now all my staff has asked for permission to join his class. We all loved his session. I recommend John Affaidzi Appiah and his company A-League Consult check it out and thank me later
I am excited to see the transformation with the women after the training and to work with John and A-League Consult to impact lives across the continent..#mydigitalskills
