Job Description: Program Lead

Project Brief: – GROW –Linking Young Africans to the Growing Global Demand for Remote Work
Summary
The GROW Project Manager will be responsible for all the stages of a project’s life cycle and have duties such as managing resources, monitoring project execution, reporting to senior management, reporting to the Generation Program Management Unit (PMU), ensuring a continuous flow of information among project team members and Generation Program Management.
Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage program design for GROW which would include researching and sharing insights on the Ghana Market to inform key elements of initial shortlist of professions, geographic reach, gender equity strategies, social supports design for the GROW Program
- Manage identifying suitable prospective partner organizations, verifying information provided by potential project partners, facilitating introductions based on established project partner needs after program design
- Managing Project Partner relationships such as data collection, site visits, regular meetings
- Managing and designing co-creation workshops during the inception and operational phases of the program.
- Create collaborative learning and design activities for the co creation workshops, identify resources, secure venues, collect and process information and insights from the workshops.
- Manage the process to validate the professions to be offered on GROW through ensuring project officer organizes focus group discussions with graduates and prospective learners, interactions with prospective employers and market research to validate professions for the programs.
- Manage GROW’s operations activities as needed. This includes managing the process of equipment distribution and safeguarding, facility access and management, logistics and social supports distribution.
- Must monitor project schedule, managing deadline for each project task check that every deadline is possible to achieve set targets
- Must meet all deadlines and deliverables
Qualities
- Ability to effectively carry out online research
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong commitment to youth and women’s empowerment
- Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite
- Intermediate to Advanced Digital Skills
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or Master’s Degree in international development, business, project management, education, social sciences or information studies
- Experience in coordination of projects or volunteers in a non-profit
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to manage resources
- Punctual, reliable and professional
- Time management and organizational skills
