We are excited to share that we have signed a partnership agreement with MEST Africa where we will be recommending top female talent from students at the academy to potentially become MEST Entrepreneurs in Training. If selected they will benefit from graduate-level entrepreneurial training in business, communications and software development, including extensive hands-on project work, culminating in a Final Pitch and the chance to receive seed funding($50K to $200K),public and private office space,full-time, on-site staff of business advisors and cross-functional experts and global presence . This is big for us since we are always looking for next step opportunities for the women and girls at the academy.
We have had some on our mentees go on to study Computer Science at University and now to become MEST Entrepreneurs in Training and get the support, training, and funding to build world-class technology companies gets us so excited.
We set out to bridge the gender gap in technology and ensure that women and girls are not left behind in the technology revolution and become economically independent. It is important that we have the female perspective in the technology that is created.
Step by step we are getting there. I believe partnerships are key and I am excited to see what the future will bring. Watch this space….
