Autistic Savant, Bobby Niikoi Amon A.K.A ”The Calendar Man” Graduated From Soronko Academy

On Friday, November 22nd, 2019, a 22-year-old autistic savant, Bobby Niikoi Amon also known as “The Calendar Man”, graduated from Soronko Academy after successful completion of his introductory course in Web Development with Hypertext Markup Language(HTML).

Present to grace the occasion were friends and family of Bobby, journalists and media personnel from TV3 network, and the staff of the Academy. In her keynote address, the Chief Executive Officer of Soronko Academy, Mrs. Regina Honu, said Bobby despite his special condition, demonstrated tremendous brain-power during his studies and assimilated every aspect of the subject matter. She said, “Soronko will play a key role in ensuring that Bobby achieves his aim of becoming an accomplished software developer that he desires”.

Bobby, who had great dexterity in basket weaving, showcased his newly built website to the audience and section of the media. He told the audience he used HTML to develop the site.

Mrs. Honu who was full of praise for Bobby presented him with a certificate of completion as well as HTML tags coding curriculum. She was appreciative of MTN Ghana, MTN Ghana Foundation, Rotary Club Limburgerhof/Vorderpfalz for their support. The proprietor also hailed Mr. Cyril Agbewali for being an amazing trainer and the entire staff of the Academy for the good work done.
